2021 NEW Product Updates from CORSA Performance

Back in 1998, an ambitious CORSA Performance entered the exhaust category by debuting its revolutionary RSC® (Reflective Sound Cancellation®) Technology on the C5 Corvette. Today, the multi-patent holding company …

I’m just yanking your chain: CORSA Performance needs no introduction.

As a world leader in premium exhaust systems, the company’s entire foundation is built upon a proven ability to deliver iconic sound, respectable power gains, and enviable good looks. If you don’t already have a CORSA system on your ride, you’ve likely crunched the numbers on one.

And key to being the leader? Innovation. These guys stay on the ball with modern trends and hot new product. Here’s a little taste of what’s on the docket for this spring.

C8 Corvette Product Suite

Go big or go home, right? CORSA teased its C8 Corvette product lineup way back in October 2020, treating our ears to the throaty growl of the latest king in a long line of small-block Chevys. Enduring the near six-month wait for the suite’s release has been rough, but so worth it. In March, CORSA announced a full C8 Corvette product lineup featuring not one, but FOUR unique exhaust systems, as well as high-flow cats, headers, and heat control accessories.

Each system is a little different, but all are tailored to exacting specifications, providing ultimate control of the driving experience. Choose from Track Series, AFM Only, NPP Only, and 4-Valve to ensure your C8’s bark matches its bite.

Corvettes equipped with the NPP exhaust from the factory gain the widest selection, including two different variable sound systems and two Xtreme systems. Those without the stock NPP can choose between two versions of the Xtreme cat-back systems with either polished or blacked-out tips.

2015+ Dodge Demon, Hellcat, Redeye Valved Cat-back Xtreme Exhaust System

Unless you’ve been hiding out under a rock, you know active exhaust systems are all the rage. A trick addition to many vehicles, they allow the driver to choose an exhaust note that’s appropriate for the moment. One could argue that it’s better to run the most aggressive note at all times. We hear you, but we also hear our whiny neighbors asking, “What’s with all that noise?”

Now available for 2015 and newer Dodge Demon, Hellcat, and SRT, Challengers and Chargers, CORSA’s Xtreme active valve exhaust system brings the legendarily aggressive note up a few notches while maintaining the ability to keep the naysayers at bay.

As if being able to hook your Mopar up with a killer CORSA system isn’t enough, this setup is as plug-and-play as it gets. Bolting directly to the factory actuator and running through the remainder of the vehicle, it requires no cutting, welding, denting, or grinding. It does come with its exclusive cast-valve actuator.

The bad news is CORSA says there are limited quantities for the system, and they’ve been on the shelf since February 2021. So, if you want one – you better act fast!

Air Intake Upgrades

CORSA also recently updated its product catalog with some killer cold air intakes. C7 Z06 Corvette owners now have access to the CORSA Carbon Fiber air intake systems. That’s right, a cold air intake system with weight savings and maximum strength on the agenda. Also, what’s not to love about the aesthetics? Available in Dry (Red) and Oiled (Blue) Filtration, the CORSA Performance C7 Z06 Corvette air intake is made from pure 100% carbon fiber construction.

Mustang owners also have reason to celebrate, as CORSA added a new line of 2018+ Ford Mustang GT Closed Box Air Intakes in early 2021. The closed-box design works to shield engine heat, protecting the filter as much as possible while still promoting optimal flow. Another nice touch is that you can go as far as 50,000 miles with no need for maintenance. Plus, the filter is reusable. So, the product pretty much hits every mark on the checklist.

Available in Dry (Red) or Oiled (Blue) Filtration, these CORSA Performance Air Intakes bolt on in minutes and offer dyno-tested gains up to 20HP and 11TQ.

Heat Shield Accessories

CORSA Performance Black-Out Heat Protection for 2020-21 Corvette C8

Proving it’s more than just exhaust systems, CORSA boasts a growing line of heat shield accessories to take your car, truck, or SUV to the next level. Several new products have recently joined the lineup, including basalt-lined, titanium-infused catalytic converter heat blankets; titanium spark plug boot covers; titanium exhaust wrap; off-road exhaust wrap; and special black-out heat shields meant to replace GM’s reflective heat wrap with an added layer of black heat protection, eliminating the eyesore behind the C8 Exhaust Tip cavity.

CORSA’s heat shield systems surpass factory equipment in both performance and aesthetics. Simply put: They look better, and do a better job at keeping out heat. Plus, installation is very easy, with most shields simply popping into place.

Clean & Protect

Contributing to the draw of a CORSA Performance exhaust system is its iconic – and eye-catching – dual wall stainless steel tips. Unfortunately, we all know the toll that months of winter driving can take on all parts of our vehicle – let alone the backside. If you’ve been eyeing up some springtime car shows and want to know how to properly clean your exhaust tips, you’re in luck. CORSA recently teamed up with car care guru Adam Pitale of Adam’s Polishes to develop an exhaust tip cleaner and protection kit.

The specially formulated 3-step solution features a cleaner, polisher, and ceramic metal wipe to ensure a brilliant shine. As an added bonus, a microfiber applicator pad and cleaning utility towel are included. Even better, there is an accompanying YouTube video demonstrating proper use. Check it out below.
