There are certain weeks that are hard for me to get work done. The week of Cyber Monday. The first two weeks of the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament. Any week that Apple has a Developer’s Conference. The worst of them, however, is this week right here. SEMA Week. For four days, I am inundated with announcements of products that reflect trends of the previous year, and will influence trends in the coming year. My special blend of ADD and passion for what I do meet in a perfect storm of information. It’s day one of SEMA Week people, and my mind is already blown.  Fab Fours just announced that their “LEGENDARY” Grumper and ViCowl will now be available for the 2017+ Super Duty. Boom.

Grumper And ViCowl

Fab Fours launched the Grumper, a futuristic grille/winch bumper mashup, just a few years back for the JK Wrangler. It launched simultaneously with their ViCowl. This visor and cowl cover can house LED lighting. They have grown to become some of the most popular Jeep accessories in the aftermarket, largely because of their customizability.  The steel construction and modular design allow a builder to spread their creative wings when planning out color schemes.  Despite the popularity of the Grumper, you will rarely see two Jeeps with Grumpers that look much alike each other.  The Grumper and ViCowl allow you to truly stand out.

I’ve Seen The Future…

Bringing the Grumper and ViCowl to the Super Duty makes perfect sense.  The 2017 Super Duty is was one of the most anticipated new vehicle launches in history.  No longer do F-250 / F-350 owners have to settle for just some cool wheels and tires.  The Grumper for Super Duty, GR4100-1 provides full coverage up front. It sports sharp lines, akin to Fab Fours’ Vengeance Series. It’s steep angles allow for better tire clearance. It has provisions for all Ford Sensors, and provides room for LED cube lights.

The ViCowl armors your entire cowl and A-Pillar and forms a visor over the windshield. Inserts are sold separately to allow for LED cube lights or a single 20″ LED light bar.

Can’t Hardly Wait

Now that Fab Fours has announced the new Grumper and ViCowl for Super Duty trucks, I can’t wait to see what builders do with this killer creative tool.  I don’t know about you, but I’ll be right here, waiting.  Waiting and scouring the sites of bloggers and Instagram accounts covering the SEMA show, looking for my next fix.
