24 Hours of LeMons: Shine Country Classic
Perhaps the most life-changing series of automotive events are those known as 24 Hours of LeMons. Whether you’re in for the drive or just to stand back and watch, you’re in for the time of your life. Hitting the Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Alabama, 24 hours of LeMons: Shine Country Classic gives you the chance to see how them good old boys throw down the hammer the cheap, dirty, and fast way.
So, if you’ve got a little bit of cash ($500) and you’re ready to thrash (endurance race), clear your schedule for February 1 and 2. Click here for more information.
ChampCar: 14 Hours of Road Atlanta
24 Hours of LeMons isn’t the only event tailored to making it easy for would-be-racers. Another option is ChampCar. February 7-8, the endurance racing series hits Braselton, Georgia for its 14 Hours of Road Atlanta.
This is your chance to get out for a professional race experience with none of the associated hassles that would otherwise make it impossible. So, what are you waiting for?
14th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance
When you think of a car show, chances are, you think of a local gathering filled with your run-of-the-mill muscle cars, sports cars, and tuners. While these are some of the most greatest celebrations in the world, there are those who claim more refined tastes.
Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance is a show reserved for the highest-end vintage and modern luxury vehicles that define what it means to ride in style. Held at the Boca Raton Airport, you can come show off your prized top-tier ride, ogle over hundreds of others, and enjoy live entertainment with the best company. Running from February 7-9, this is the event to get a little fancy and enjoy the finer things in car culture.
12th Annual Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion
It goes without saying that the early ages of hot-rodding truly shaped much of what car culture is today. Without the edgy personalities, music, and cars of the era, I don’t think automobiles would even be remotely recognizable today. The Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion gives attendees the opportunity to go to a car show that submerges them in this world of yesteryear.

We’re talking classic rock n roll, a killer crowd, and seriously “Bitchin’ Rides”, trucks, and motorcycles. Pack your bags, slick back that hair, and roll those smokes up your sleeve because you’re heading to Lake Havasu City, Arizona February 14-16. Get the details here.
Carlisle Winter AutoFest
PUMP THE BRAKES! CARLISLE IN FLORIDA? We Pennsylvanians love our Carlisle events. From Chevys to Mopars to imports, Carlisle has something for everyone. Though, aside from Automania, we’re left hangin’ for most of the winter season.
Running from February 21-23, the Carlisle Winter AutoFest gives attendees the opportunity to enjoy some warm weather and drool over everything from Vettes to Hemis. I know, it’s not that short drive we all know and love. But hey, why not take some time off and get some sun and octane on your skin?
26th Annual NMRA Spring Break Shootout
Don’t miss this historic and marquee event on the NMRA calendar. The biggest party in Mustang drag racing kicks off February 27 in sunny Bradenton, Florida. There’s a little bit of everything for Ford racing fans, from hardcore Street Outlaws to heavy hitter Renegades.
Vendors and reps will be on-site, too, as well as an all-Ford car show and plenty of fun, food, and entertainment. Pack your bags and let’s see some thunder.
58th Annual Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari
Looking for some summertime wheeling during the winter months? Then it’s time to hit the sunny sands of the largest and longest-running off-road even in SOCAL.
The 58th Annual Tiera Del Sol Desert Safari runs February 28 – March 1 and promises plenty of 4×4 fun, great vendors, and “the best raffle on the planet” with over $150,000 in prizes! So, grab your rig, pack up the family, and hit the trails! Get more information here.
RADwood Austin
Car culture in the ‘80s and ‘90s was a unique and wild time. Everything was emphasized by neon colors, leather jackets, and sleek futuristic designs. If you happen to miss that style, head on down to Austin, Texas, where not only do they keep it weird—they also keep it retro.
The RADwood car show celebrates all the sweet rides from this era—and expects you to dress the part! So, whether it’s nostalgia or a chance to live out your fantasy, get to Driveway Austin Motorsports on Saturday, February 29! Find details here.
24 Hours of Lemons: La Carrera Arizona
Maybe Shine Country Classic was a little short notice for you. But that doesn’t mean you gotta miss out on all the LeMons of February! 24 Hours of LeMons hits Willcox, Arizona for some zesty goodness with La Carrera Arizona.
We know you’ve got a couple extra bucks for a trip to the desert, so let’s see how you are at swingin’ it with the madmen from February 29 – March 1. Get more information here.
