N-FAB Introduces Hardcore Trail Slider for 2020

Whether it’s a new product design (such as the Trail Slider), fitment for the newest popular vehicles (like the white-hot Jeep Gladiator), or participation in the biggest trade show on the planet year after year (SEMA, of course), the N-FAB commitment to success is obvious in the brand’s dogged pursuit of perfection and customer satisfaction.

N-FAB, part of the Truck Hero stable of top-quality aftermarket manufacturers, has been in the game for more than two decades. Specializing in tubular accessories like nerf bars, side steps, and pre-runners, the brand is perpetually expanding its line to include all sorts of useful products.

From bumpers, to light mounting, to bed-mounted tire carriers, N-FAB caters to nearly every make and model of off-road-capable vehicle you can think of, and does so with heavy gauge steel, premium welding, and zinc coating.

Not long ago, we covered a beautiful marriage of aftermarket and OEM perfection, when N-FAB expanded its line to include an array of parts for the Ford Raptor, the modern-day gold standard of the pickup truck universe. We also looked into what they had to offer for the award-winning 2019 RAM 1500.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, friends.

New Year, New N-FAB

You would have to be living under a rock to miss the Gladiator-sized impression Jeep left on the SEMA show floor this year. But with solid front and rear axles, standard 4WD, great approach and departure angles, and the ability to go full-Jurassic mode in stock form, it’s easy to see why installers were eager to apply their aftermarket creativity to the model.

The Gladiator’s uber-close Wrangler ties made it a fan favorite before it ever hit the streets (or trails), and N-FAB has wasted no time in being ready to meet this opportunity head-on. From traditional to aggressive, steel or aluminum, the Texas-based fabricating specialists offer a variety of step options for the new Gladiator. We’re particularly fond of the Predator Pro steps, sporting a rugged, wide step area that manages to look both intimidating and stealthy at the same time.

But we’re entering a new decade. And this is SEMA. Undoubtedly, that meant N-FAB had to step up its game and deliver something a little outside its wheelhouse.

Rising to the challenge, the company introduced its new Trail Slider rock slider nerf bars. Debuting on the only Toyota 4-Runner in the entire Truck Hero booth, the Trail Slider is N-FAB’s first crack at producing an actual true frame-mounted rock slider.

Traditionally known for making side steps, this hardcore undercarriage protection is a new foray for N-FAB, who hopes to put the product on shelves beginning in Q1 of 2020. Launching first for the 4Runner, N-FAB will add light duty truck and Jeep applications shortly thereafter.

Constructed of .094 wall heavy duty steel tubing with 3/16 gussets, it’s built to stand up to rugged off-road adventures, while a textured black finish protects against moisture and road debris. Better yet, the entire Trail Slider installation is drill-free, instead using factory mounting holes for an easy bolt on application. Plus, they have a great look, sitting high and tight to the cab.

If you plan to take your rig off road in the new year, there are plenty of tough, steel products in the N-FAB catalog that can help you along your way. Few names are as trusted in the industry, and for good reason. Built to last, and designed to fit, N-FAB has been at the top of their field for years. And anyone who has ever installed some N-FAB products on their truck knows exactly why.
