New Go Rhino Bumpers Keep You Muddin’ This Season
As severe thunderstorms rumble across 65% of the country, and insurance agents collectively groan at the overload of hail-induced claims they now have to sort through, off-roaders struggle to contain their excitement. Because while Cheryl’s She-Shed goes up in flames and half the neighborhood pumps water out of their basement, trail warriors find solace in knowing that unprecedented rainfall has at least one positive side effect: WEEKEND MUDDIN’, BABY.
Bro, Do You Even Off-Road?
We’re assuming you’re already pretty well-equipped with aftermarket tires and shocks, maybe a respectable lift, and hopefully a proper winch. Because while your stock Taco or Rubicon sports some factory off-road chops, this is muddin’ we’re talking about—and muddin’ can be pretty tough on your vehicle.

That’s why you should be investing in a few thoughtful upgrades—the first of which is a burly steel replacement bumper that can accommodate an already-capable winch. Open fenders would be a wise decision, too, as is a well-stocked cache of recovery gear and some solid light mounts. Luckily, our friends over at Go Rhino have a host of new Jeep and truck gear for your rig.
Today, though? We’re focusing on Go Rhino Bumpers.
Heavy-duty steel bumpers will provide you with the protection and approach angle you need to conquer obstacles and absorb impacts on the trail. And when you want the ultimate in strength, style, and durability, you want Go Rhino.
New Go Rhino Bumpers for Jeep Wrangler
While we covered some of the JL-exclusive Go Rhino bumpers back in March, here’s a quick refresher on the California-based manufacturer’s new Wrangler-friendly lineup.
Trailine® Series
Go Rhino’s new Trailine® series serves both JK and JL owners with three distinct styles, as well as matching rear bumpers to complete the look. (Rear bumpers that are compatible with soon-to-come Go Rhino add-on accessories, so stay tuned for new product.)
Constructed of CNC laser cut and formed steel with fully welded hand-finished seams, Trailine® bumpers are zinc plated and then top coated with Go Rhino’s signature black texture powder coating—ensuring no amount of trail riding, mud bogging, or water fording is going to wear away your investment.

Three optional light mount bar designs allow for further customization and fully-welded 1-inch thick rhino hooks capable of holding up to 7/8-inch D-rings provide additional recovery points in the event you or buddies get stuck. A removable cover allows for winch installation (up to 12,000-pound capacity), and a front gear drawer with locking latch offers easy storage for extra off-road accessories.
In addition to being ruggedly styled and well built, these Go Rhino bumpers are also pretty easy to install, requiring no cutting or drilling for JKs and only slight mods for JL-fitting.
Matching Trailine® rear bumpers are also available in three styles and feature the same welded rhino hooks for D-rings. The mesh plates can be removed to install two additional single row or compatible flush-mount lights and provisions are available to add an optional Go Rhino swing-away tire carrier.
Rockline® Series
Though available for JK, JL, and JT model Jeeps, the Go Rhino Rockline® Series was specifically designed for the new JL. Featuring a 3/16-inch steel construction, durable zinc plating and signature black texture powder coating, these Go Rhino bumpers come in both stubby and full-width configurations, with or without a welded tubular center hoop.
Both styles sport Go Rhino’s patented D-ring shackles, as well as a pre-slotted top mount area for a winch (up to 12,000-pound capacity) and a removable hex mesh screen that protects your lights from road debris. The stubby accommodates any 20-inch double row LED light bar or four 3-inch cube lights behind the panel. The full-width option offers the same, but with added mounting points for an additional four 3-inch cube lights. (FYI: Neither one is rated for use with towing equipment.)

Matching rear bumpers are also available in stubby or full-width, and feature Go Rhino’s signature recovery shackles, design-incorporated step area, and mesh-covered recessed light mounts for 3-inch cube lights. Additionally, installation for all Rockline® Series Go Rhino bumpers is simple bolt-on.
Go Rhino Bumpers for Off-Road Trucks
When you want ultimate protection and off-road capability for your full-size or mid-size truck, you want Go Rhino bumpers. Precision laser cut from 3/16-inch steel for an exact fit and maximum durability, Go Rhino’s replacement bumpers all feature the company’s patented texture coating and 5-year warranty.
Aside from that, however, these bumpers come in a variety of styles and feature many different options and capabilities.
Here’s a quick rundown.
The BR5 Series brings heavy-duty bumper protection to half-ton trucks. Capable of holding up to a 12,500-pound capacity winch, it also features D-ring shackle mounts, provisions for factory sensors, and optional light mounts for a 20-inch light bar and cube lights. The BR5.5 Series adds to the BR5, with a hinged winch door and integrated 2-inch receiver.
Not enough? The BR10 Series adds a little more aggressiveness, with a heavy-duty design and up to 16,500-pound winch capacity, while the BR10.5 adds that hinged winch door and convenient 2-inch receiver.
And finally, the BR20 Series brings all this protection ‘round back with 1-inch integrated D-rings, optional light mounts, and integrated corner steps, while the BR20.5 throws in provisions for factory lights and sensors.
Remember, mud gets EVERYWHERE. So, when you finish splashing around, be sure to hose off your vehicle, the undercarriage, and obviously that fresh new Go Rhino bumper. Treat ‘er right and you’ll have plenty more puddle jumping ahead of you.
