26th Annual Corvette Funfest 2019
If there’s one thing you can’t argue with, it’s the dominating presence the Corvette has in the automotive world. It’s just an absolute monster in terms of performance—and fan following. Chances are, those who are interested in Corvettes already know a thing about Corvette Funfest. But juust in case you’re on the fence, here’s the skinny.

Hosted by Mid America Motorworks, this is the largest Corvette party in the world. That means, you have the opportunity to see more ‘Vettes than you could ever handle. Not to mention, you can enjoy shows, meet celebrities, sit in on some seminars, and tour Effingham, Illinois—home of the last C4 Corvette. So, if you’re ready to break that sweet performance animal out one more time, September 19-22 is your chance. Click here for more information.
18th Annual NMCA World Street Finals presented by Chevrolet Performance
I don’t know about you, but to me drag racing should be considered America’s pastime, not baseball. There’s only one thing more American than beefy tires, screaming engines, and an all-out war raging within the bounds of a quarter mile and that’s the apple pie—which is only holding on by a thread. With that in mind, the NMCA World Street Finals are going down at the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis September 19-22.

You don’t need more of an excuse to get out, soak up some good ol’ fashioned motorsport excitement, and watch that crisp, cool air work wonders on them engines. Boys and girls, pack your bags and follow this link.
38th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Fall 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals
If for some reason drag racing doesn’t do it for you, check out O’Reilly Auto Parts 4-Wheel Jamboree — also in Indianapolis and also running the weekend of September 20-22. This event is a massive attraction for four-wheeling enthusiasts from every corner of the U.S., drawing more than 2,000 vehicles.
Featuring Monster Truck rides, mud drags, UTV racing, a burnout competition, and even a Mountain Man Beard Contest, it’s a must-see for sure. New this year is the American SuperJeep Challenge, a competition to crown the best custom modified Jeep. To recap: That’s a show, racing, fairgrounds hospitality, and trucks that will blow your mind. Did we mention all the fantastic fellow enthusiasts you’ll meet along the way? Trust me, it’s worth your time to get a ticket.
38th Running of the Four Crown Nationals World of Outlaws
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: There’s nothing like dirt car racing. The sound is unmatched, the smell is euphoric, and the driving is unbelievable. It just so happens, that September 27-28, you can snag the opportunity to go and check out the Four Crown Nationals World of Outlaws.

Held at the half-mile Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, you can watch Sprints hit high speeds and take turns in ways you could never even imagine. So, when you’re ready to get your heart racing you’d better click the link.
Goodguys 27th Summit Racing Lone Star Nationals
I personally have never had the chance to step foot in a Goodguys event. Do you know how bad this makes me feel? I’m missing out on all of the beautiful cars! The amazing history! And just generally all the unparalleled automotive wonder that is to be had.

With that said, the 27th Summit Racing Lone Star Nationals are going down at the Texas Motor Speedway this September 27-29. If you don’t want to end the year with an aching in your heart for missing out on an epic car show, featuring over 2,000 vehicles, burnout competitions, autocross, food, entertainment, and more—I suggest you check this link and get going.
18th Annual International Route 66 Mother Road Festival
When you think of Route 66, chances are you imagine a simpler time. One with less traffic, vintage gas stations, ice cream and burger joints, and classic cars cruising as far as the eye can see. Thankfully, Route 66 isn’t some distant highway you can only enjoy in a daydream or time machine. This legendary piece of Americana is very much alive and well and is something you can see and enjoy for yourself. (Perhaps with just a few more modern cars lingering around.)

However, if you’re itching for that old-timey feel, the 18th Annual International Route 66 Mother Road Festival is for you. Set in Historic Downtown Springfield, Illinois, and running September 27-29, come join fellow classic car enthusiasts for a chance to see Route 66 all dolled up like the Golden Days of yore. With over 40 classes of car awards, a performance marketplace, burnout competition, Poker Race, and more, it’s time to clear your schedule, hit the link, and hit the road.
So, what will it be? Corvette Funfest? Sprint Car Racing? 4-Wheel Jamboree? Let us know in the comments!
